Gema Alvarez is a versatile Spanish attorney with more than 10 years of experience representing companies and individuals in different branches of law. Since moving to The Bahamas, she has focused her career on the financial industry, working as a compliance consultant and as an assistant relationship manager in Julius Baer Bank.
She holds a Law Degree and a Master Degree in Land Planning & Construction Law from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. Gema also has an EMBA with the specialization in Commodity Trading from the University of Geneva in collaboration with the Swiss Trading and Shipping Association (STSA). Furthermore, she is a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS).
